  Sarah,

I hope that you do receive this response but I do not think that you can
transfer your talks package no. You will probably have to buy a new copy of
talks. This is becausee the current copy you have is linked to the IMEI number
of your phone. You would need to contact a dealer such as NCBI to advise you
appropriately based on the type of Talks you have.

Now, the Iphone, that is a different matter. There is a lot to get use to
with it and yes you may love it but its something you should really consider
and if possible have a play with one before you make the jump to purchase it.
Maybe read up on it on the net first or ask someone that has one that you know
to turn on voiceover and let you play with it but you will need to understand
how to interact with it properly.

I didn't hear Stuart's interview but all braille displays tend to be a bit on
the expensive side but I am sure he will be able to come back to you himself or
someone else that has heard the interview and knows the model you are talking
about and be able to more advise you than I can.

  Cheers, Nicky.

    Hi all

Sorry haven't been on line as have been having internet problems which will
not be sorted for another few days! anyway I have a question to ask as I
thought you would have the most info on it.

I have a Nokia E65 which I got a few years ago. Its starting to act up a
lot so am hoping to get new phone for Xmas. Went into Vodafone and the lady
told me that she thought I should be able to transfer my talking package to a
new phone without any extra charge but I am wondering if anyone of you has done
this or knows if that is actually true as she didn't really seem too sure.
Also would it be better to switch altogether to an iphone as I know it has been
getting good feedback from the VICs members and Stuart spoke very highly of it
on the radio yesterday.

Stuart also talked about a blue-tooth braille thing called Focus 40 I
think....does anyone of you know how much it costs??

Your help would be very much appreciated!

    Sarah Mc
