I've just had a look at some folders in outlook there is a folder called
important I didn't create it so do you think it is there by default?

Depends on your list settings.
You can set it up so emails you send to the list are delivered to you.
Some people don't want their own mails sent back to them when they post to
a mailing list.
I think for the vics list you can do this by sending a mail to:
vicsireland-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
with the following text in the subject line:
set echopost
Try it and see if it works.

Hi folks
I have just sent emails to 2 lists, I have had answers to my queries come
back but the emails I sent to the lists didn't show up in my in box, they
obviously went as folk came back to me
Can anyone help?
