Hi Robbie, Before Windows does an update it normally takes a restore point. Therefore, you should be able to restore your system to the state it was before the update was applied. Try this and see if you can find the lost document. All the .asd files have disappeared as well. I'll have to reassign an autorecover destination for Word and stop these automatic updates. Meanwhile, I've lost some important hard work. Is anyone else missing their AppData folder because of this most recent of Windows 7 updates?
