Esmond,

That's what I use with rockbox but rockbox does support other devices too I think.

Hi Tony,

I agree, these are very good ideas, unfortunately, I don't know if
there are many people still using the IAudio x5 as it was discontinued
by Cowon in 2007. However, if any members do have such devices and
are willing to either create a podcast or written tutorial, let
someone on the committee know and we will add it to the site. The same
goes for any podcasts/tutorials on other topics of interest that
people may be able to create.

Thanks

Esmond

No Dónal not proficient like that with Rockbox and the other two so any
assist with this will be appreciated.

Perhaps sometime I can contribute something else though.

They're superb suggestions Tony. Can you do any of them yourself? If not
podcasts, could you write up "how tos" for any of that kind of thing?

Afternoon Cearbhal and all,

Yes a podcast that I would very much like to have is one on Rockbox and
Voicebox, using the iAudio X5.

Also one on simple programmes like Switch and/or Wavepad for minor editing

of needless silences or chatter at the beginning and/or end of tracks.

There are my suggestions, done.

Best, Tony Sweeney

Hello Tony,

You can see the web site at www.vicsireland.org. If you have any
suggestions for articles that might be included on it, why not make a
suggestion to the list?

All the best,

Cearbhall

Ciaran & Committee!

Not great that you put out mention of those paid- up on the list!

Now could I ask that you extend the date of renewal of membership till we
can see the proposed vics website; heard a lot about it but nothing
further!

Will hold my resubscribing till then.

Best of luck, success.
