Hi Cearbhall.its good to hear you after that recent sparing match with Tom
McGourke...

The process as you say, is simply to transfer complete e-mails (warts and all)
from Outlook Express to some other area of the system, for later retrieval if
necessary. Maureen has also given me something to try, but I thought it better
to respond to you before i start this experiment, as this could take all night.

Thanks again for the offer of help and keep your guard up in case that man
throws another punch, probably below the belt

Regards Martin K

Martin,

I find your query intriguing. I cannot find any means of opening emails in Word
under Outlook express. However, MS. Outlook does allow this function. Word also
offers the option to use word as the email client. However, the problem seems
to be how to get emails that arrive in Outlook to open in Word - is that
correct? I think we could have a go at helping you to solve the problem if we
knew the purpose and the process that you are trying to achieve.

All the best,

Cearbhall

Maureen! thank you for coming back so quickly with your suggestions.
Unfortunately, its not that simple, I was really thinking of the original
e-mails but I will experiment with your suggestion while i await some
additional remedies to my difficulty.

Thanks again...Martin

Martin, are you speaking about attachments? If so,, go to "alt" and down to
"save attachments", tab around to "save" and enter. Otherwise, I am afraid it
is hard labour for you!

  Hi folks!

Hopefully, this query is not too taxing for all you experts out there...

Is there an easy or straight forward method of transferring e-mails from
Outlook Express over to Word, without having to copy, cut and paste and so on?

I hope there is an easy answer to this query to cut down on unnecessary
playbook

  Martin K
