I don't believe that to be the case.  When I was booking, I rang the Ryanair 
customer services number to check.  At East Midlands airport at least, you go 
to the Ryanair assistance point, wherever that may be.  As I will be travelling 
there with sighted assistance, I will let them find it for me.  I'll let you 
all know how it goes!

HI there, this is going to be very interesting as they insist that if you 
are a person requiring assistance you have to use airport check in.  Maybe 
they will have some sort of premium number in order for us to check in 
rather than make the site accessible. Nothing would surprise me.
