Mairead,
The OCR keystroke is NVDA+r
You will need to be running windows 10 on your computer in order to use this
feature.
locate the screen capture image file you want to view and press the enter key
to open it.
You can then use the NVDA key + letter R to OCR it.
The image needs to be in focus before launching the OCR.
Let us know how you get on with it.
All the best,
Cearbhall

Subject: [vicsireland] NVDA training day
Hi Searbhall and all,
Thank you for the NVDA training day on Saturday as I found it very informative.
I have a question regarding screenshots. If someone emails a screenshot of an
error message or a screenshot of a tavle or something how do I get NVDA to read
the screenshot? I know you briefly mensioned it on Saturday but I can’t
remember how this is done.
Regards
