Hi Robby, Have you managed to do any of the updates so far? If so it's the same procedure. If not, read on. You need to connect the iPhone to your PC. Now on my Mac itunes opens automatically, but if it doesn't open it. Go down the sources table till you find the entry for your iPhone. Then go to the summary bit of the screen. In there you'll see a button to update your iPhone. Follow the prompts from there. Sorry I can't give a step by step version but I'm on a mac and the User Interface is similar but not quite the same and the ways things are done are just diferent enough to make it impossible for me to be any more detailed. Others on the list might be able to be more precise. Good luck, Dónal On 24 Mar 2012, at 15:15, Robert Forde <bobforde25@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > Hi all, > > I've an iphone 4 and I am wondering if someone could e mail me on > instructions on how to go about updating to the I O S 5 software. > > Many thanks > > Robbie > > =========================================================== > The vicsireland mailing list > > To unsubscribe at any time send a mail to: > > vicsireland-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > with the word "unsubscribe", without the quotes in the subject of the > message. > > To contact the moderator send mail to: > > tim.j.culhane@xxxxxxxxx > > For mor information on the Visually Impaired Computer Society visit: > > http://www.vicsireland.org Dónal Fitzpatrick dfitzpat@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ==========================================================The vicsireland mailing list To unsubscribe at any time send a mail to: vicsireland-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe", without the quotes in the subject of the message.
