That being said, i.e., I got the hyperlinks to work (but unfortunately, not reliably). There are some Word documents in JAWS Help, but the hyperlinks in them do not work reliably either. Maybe there is some contortion of a few keystrokes to make them work all the time: but despite earlier optimism on my part, I haven't yet uncovered such a formula. (Too many functionalities fighting for too few keys.) If you 'activate' a Heading or a hyperlink, you keep being taken back to the list - so all you're doing is activating the list itself. (Far as I know, this works since about JAWS5.) ----- Original Message ----- >From: "Flor Lynch" <florlync@xxxxxx> To: <vicsireland@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, April 03, 2008 4:23 PM Subject: [vicsireland] Re: Hyperlinks in Word Alternatively, and this may work properly: When in the word document whose hyperlinks you want to navigate with, if your version of JAWS allows it use Insert+z - that's z for Zulu - to turn Quick Keys On. You may then treat the document as if it were an HTML document, using the usual JAWS HTML keystrokes as on the Web. (I think you should toggle Quick Keys off (using the same keystroke as above) before you exit the document.)
