Hi everyone,
Hello, everyone. The Outlook team has fixed the issue where file attachments
didn't show up in plain text messages. This fix is in the latest Office 2016
update (version 16.0.6366.2056), which started rolling out to customers
earlier this week. If you don't have the update yet, open any Office
application and choose File >Account. (If you're using Outlook, choose File
Office Account). Then, under Product Information, choose Update Options >
Update Now.
Does it look as though this might be your problem?

Subject: [vicsireland] Hidden files
Hello there! Can someone tell me how I get hidden files to show inn
documents? I have gone into files and folders and selected the relevant
items but no joy. I also set as "default", again no joy. I think it occurs
when I get an attachment from someone and in saving it it says "hidden
files" but I cannot unhide. All help welcome because I am nearly
demented!!! I am using windows 10 and Outlook 2010.
