Subject: [IRELANDVIPNEWS] Focus group on employment
Hi All,
Dr Caroline O'Nolan, Senior Research Officer with the National Disability
Authority was in contact with me yesterday. On behalf of the HSE, she is
running a focus group with a group of young adults (18-30 years) with vision
impairment. The group can include people who are looking for work and
people who are in employment. This is a HSE project (the NDA is facilitating
it) and the issue for discussion is messages delivered by health
professionals to young adults with disabilities in relation to
employment/career prospects.
I am getting in touch with you to find out if you are interested in
participating? You must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years. A date has
not been set but it will be late January / early February. It will be in the
evening time so that people who are working can attend and will be in NCBI
head office.
