Afternoon Eamonn,

Thanks for all that.

One thing which is good about the Blind Cool Tech site anyway is that you get a one or two liner of the product that the podcast is for.

It's great when you don't know anything of the product and you can learn it that way.

Pity about links not working but maybe I'll try again.

Must look now at Blind Geek Zone.

Cheers, Tony

Hi Tony,

Flor is correct in that the BCT site has not been updated in some time. It
usually is updated fairly frequently.

Bare in mind that it’s user driven. In other words, if someone wants to
contribute to it they can.

It’s run by Larry Scutcon of the American Printing house for the blind, but
is of general interest. You’ll find everything from description of train
trips to cooking to all aspects of technology.

It’s not a radio station, but is available as part of Serotek’s Iblink
radio app for mobile devices.

Contributions posted by Neil Ewers and Chase Crispin are more than
likely available on their own sites.

Chase Crispin’s Blind Mobile Tech:
www.blindmobiletech.com

Neal Ewer’s Blind Geek Zone:

Tony, you’re probably aware of those 3 sites, but thought I’d mention them
anyway!

Regards,

Eamonn

Uh, thanks for that Flor!

Some of the links, although they say 'link' do not work!

Cheers,

Tony,

No, although several of the podcasts up there have featured in ACB Radio
programmes. I gather that it is not being updated for the past several
months.

Hi,

Just wondering if Blind Cool Tech are on radio and if so would you have
the link for that.

I'm looking at their very good site but anyway can't see the answer to
that.

BTW, for anyone who doesn't know it's a really good and comprehensive
site certainly from first glance.

Cheers, Tony
