[vicsireland] Accessing PDF

Hi All
I am not sure if there is a programme which will open PDF files! I would be
glad to hear of any which we can access!
I think that the idea of PDF format is to stop cutting and pasting of a said
document! I doubt that Jaws could read such a document, but I am open to
correction.
Has anyone printed out such a document and read it on a scanner such as
Kurzweil?
