Hi, everyone. I've always heard that you should close and "remove hardware"
before actually unplugging or turning off a device (e.g. Victor Reader, thumb
drive, etc.) Years ago, I would do this removal process by going to the "system
tray" with JAWS key + F11. Removing hardware was a choice on that list, and I
could select the device I planned to remove. Some time ago, the "remove
hardware" choice vanished from that list, and I no longer know how to
accomplish this. Is it no longer necessary? Is there another way to remove the
hardware item before unplugging it from the computer?

I'll appreciate any insight you can give on this subject.
JAWS 22

Thanks. Tina
