Hold the side button in for about 5 seconds and then the shut down screen
appears. You'll have to swipe to the shut down button and double tap it. If
rebooting the phone doesn't bring SIRI back, then the SIRI volume may be muted.
You can raise the SIRI volume with the volume buttons once SIRI is speaking.
Hold the home button for 3 seconds and then immediately tap the up volume
button.

Hello...hope someone can help me...
My iPhone (8 Plus) used to be able to be operated using the voice command, (Hey
Siri); however, since last night's automatic IOS update, the voice command no
longer works. There is no response to my saying, 'Hey Siri.' How do I turn the
voice command capability back on? I tried to do it in settings, but it didn't
work.
