Voice Memos is the native iPhone app. I stopped using it a number of years ago
after they made the screen interfacer overly complicated. However, they
recently simplified it.
There are many other apps you can get in the App Store. If you have a Dropbox
account,my favorite is RecUp. It is extremely easy to use and automatically
uploads recordings to Dropbox on both your phone and computer. It costs $1.99.
I like to be able to automatically upload recordings to my computer because
file management is far more efficient there than on the iPhone. RecUp is
perfect for this. . I haven’t figured out if it is possible to do this with
Voice Memos, so don’t use it. If you don’t care about being to eeasily upload
to a ccloud sharing program like Dropbox, then Voice Memos is fine.

Years back I was able to record sounds on the iPhone.
I don’t recall how or what Ap i may have used.
Is this still possible with Aps already on the phone?
