Hi all,
Ive had a hectic couple of weeks here, with my wife going off to visit her
family in Andover, and my sister coming to stay with me, so I didnt have a
week on my own. Ill have enough of those in the foreseeable future, for
reasons one or two of you may know.
Im really looking forward to getting the time and space to put vocals on
Stroke of Love before too long, but at the moment, I have to take life one
day at a time, due to my wifes illness.
You will remember I sent a draft (almost complete) version of my song Youre
Not Alone to vibe members. I donated it to the Mankind Initiative,
supporting male victims of domestic abuse, and they posted it up on a
fund-raising page, at: tiny.cc/yna
It was posted there last Sunday, and to date has raised £350 from direct
donations and another £72 from gift aid. Wish me luck as I strive to get it
out there and give it wings, and please share the link with anyone you know,
who may not have come across it already people you regularly email,
Facebook friends, Friends of friends, friends of friends of
and so on, and
people who follow you on Twitter.
Kevin @Russell has played it on his Flashback Gold programme on Phoenix
1208, John and Linda Paton on Ride Radio, and Jonathan Mosen has promised to
air it on Mushroom.
