Hi all,

What I like about Mapler is that you can change the pitch without the speed,
the speed without the pitch, or both together, and all in easy keystrokes.

Best,
Clive

Hi James

Although I'm a big fan of Goldwave, I'd heartily endorse Clive's second
suggestion of MaPlEr, which is more flexible and easier to use for this kind of
function. You can adjust tempo and pitch entirely independently; t and
shift+t take tempo down and up respectively, and p and shift+p do pitch
likewise in semitones. It's really cheap at 7 euros and designed with VI users
in mind. Demo mode is quite annoying because of the frequent announcements, but
gives you an idea. It does lots of other things, like playlist creation and
file conversion, too, by the way. Link below:

Subject: [vibe] Tools for slowing down music

Hi all,

On behalf of a client, I am looking for any recommendations of tools for
slowing down music for learning or practice purposes. A Google search reveals
that there are several tools, many of them free, but has anyone got any
particular recommendations. The gentleman is using JAWS on a PC.
Cheers, James
