Hi John,
Have you posted the drum track to the Vibe Dropbox area? I can't find it in any
of the folders. I suppose it would go into 'Parts' wouldn't it?
Best,
Clive

Hi John,
Brilliant. It's great to see this moving. In answer to your question,
I think that for the moment it's better simply to have a single wav file
for each instrument part. Different people will be using different
DAWS. Templates and project files might be useful later on if you know
somebody is definitely using Reaper for example, but for now probably
best to keep it simple. Everything is up for discussion though. It's an
experiment and a democracy.
Best,
Peter

Ok, boys and girls ... do we have any girls, I forget.
Don't get too excited but I've recorded a drum track for Clives first
offering. Actually I recorded it about a week ago but I'm still
grappling with the gap between my ability to play drums and my novice
status with Reaper. If I were doing a live mix in a venue, no problem;
but I find Reaper challenging.
Anyway, I wanted to write something just to let you know that I'm
still up for what we're doing and say that, as I get used to Reaper, I
very much hope to be able to turn requests around much more quickly.
In the meantime I have a question:
If I create a project and get it right for recording the kit with a
spare track for the guide and the plugins that I will generally need
on each track etc do I just save it called empty drum project or
whatever, or is it worth going for track templates or something else
clever?
Thanks, John
