Hi David and all,
I've amended the Musicians file, adding a heading at the top: "Instruments:",
and below your list, another heading, "Styles:"
Under that, I've listed the genres I'd feel at ease playing.
Perhaps we can all add the styles/genres we play.
Best,
Clive

OK, I've put the musicians list in Peter's new appropriately named Dropbox
folder, remembering this time to add James Risdon on, I think, flute and
recorder - apologies, James, so I'll shut upfor a bit now. Please update and
improve the list as much as you like, including preferences.
Cheers,
David

Hi Everyone,
I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas for putting together such a track?
I'd be really keen to add in some guitars, bass, acoustic, electric rhythm or
lead? Any of the drummers amongst you, have you a drum track recorded? Or an
idea of something? It would be really great to make this great idea of Peters
come to some fruition.
Cheers all!
Steve

Hi All,
Many thanks for the encouraging response to the idea of how we might record
remotely.
I've just invited those who expressed an interest, nine so far, to share a
DropBox folder.
Whenever you have a song or piece of music that you'd like to record, please
add a demo or guide track to the folder. It should have a count-in, and if
it's the sort of piece where a click-track is suitable or helpful, then that
could also be good, but absolutely not essential and very much depending on the
type of music.
Please then post to the group to say anything you like about how it could be
arranged, and then others can record parts, and we can take it from there.
If you haven't yet been added but would like to be, then please post to the
list.
Lastly, nothing is set in stone and if you have other ideas about how to
work this, then please feel free.
All best,
Peter
