Hi Nick,

Steve Nutt at computer Room Services is offering online Reaper training by
remote connection to blind people’s computers. He’s offering training at £30
per hour. I’ll look out the message he sent to another list about it. He says
it is perhaps the most accessible sound editing software he’s come across.

Hay Ethan, I am looking for a program but I do not have any experience of any
of the programs you mentioned.  I am totally blind, I use windows 10 currently
with NVDA but possibly jaws later.  Which program would you recommend and could
you send me then a tutorial with your recommendation.  I would be extremely
grateful for guidance.

Really looking forward to this!

If anyone wants help with how to record or different softwares I use Reaper and
Logic a lot as well as audacity a bit so would be happy to lend a hand/make
little tutorials if there's anything specific people need.

a DropBox folder.

Whenever you have a song or piece of music that you'd like to record,
please add a demo or guide track to the folder.  It should have a
count-in, and if it's the sort of piece where a click-track is suitable
or helpful, then that could also be good, but absolutely not essential
and very much depending on the type of music.

Please then post to the group to say anything you like about how it
could be arranged, and then others can record parts, and we can take it
from there.

the list.

Lastly, nothing is set in stone and if you have other ideas about how to
work this, then please feel free.
