Glad it looks like the one for you. If it's of any use at all, I've used a
Ditto Looper from TC Electronic in the past. Definitely lacking bells and
whistles, but it's simple to use, and honestly, the older I get, the more
simple I want my stuff to be, so I'm not fretting (no pun intended) while
playing live.

finding fx, so please accept my apologies if I'm preaching to the choir
here, but when looking for pedals, I generally look out for things like
whether or not they have touch screens, how their menus (if any) are
activated.
There's a shop called Andertons <https://www.andertons.co.uk/>, who I've
bought a fair amount of stuff off before. I've rang them up, and they've
actually got the stuff out of the box to check for things like menu
wrapping (whether or not you can roll a jog wheel all the way in a
particular direction and it loops around to the start of the menu or not),
and whether or not trip switches make noise when certain things happen.
My gut reaction if it were me would be watch a bunch of Youtube videos on
the pedal, and see what it sounds like. Generally if you can follow what
the youtuber is telling you, you'll be able to do the thing when you've got
the pedal in your hands.
