Now I see what you mean, so my apologies, you may be right, but I hadn't
even thought of using the website to subscribe. The way I always
recommend is simply sending a subscription request by Email, so that's
why I was thinking that there was no captcha involved. Anyway

There's no captcha involved, and I've only heard of one or two problems which
is probably par for the course. If I were starting again I'd probably use
Groups.io instead, but Freelists is still working OK for the most part. Thanks
