its interesting what you said about zoom because we've found with zoom, and
with skype, that when a lot of people sing together it goes out of sink. There
is a virtual choir we have joined on zoom and because we can't sing as a choir
for that reason, it is done like an open mike where anyone can offer to lead a
song but the host will mute the other participants so that when they join in,
it doesn't go out of sink. it would be great to find ways of colaberating with
other musicians online and also I would love to do online shows as I know many
people are doing. There are music festivals online and Garry Barlow is doing a
crooners session every day with various artists which is working very well. I
have been referred to RNIB music advisory service to see if they have any ideas
and also technology for life as I use guide but have found that this is very
limiting so am looking at other options. My husband uses jaws and he helps
me in any way he can when it to do with my music as he is a lot more
technically minded than me.

I'm another new member, and one of my reasons for joining is to explore a
similar question as the one raised below, in my case, how to play together
online with other musicians.
Zoom and other video conferencing set-ups only really work if you have all
the music coming from one place, being streamed to people who want to listen
to it. They don't work well where the musicians themselves are not located
in the same house. The work-around for this in the case of virtual choirs,
is I believe, that they either circulate recordings for each member to add
to, or they have one central broadcast point, and everyone else can hear,
but can't feed their contributions into the mix
There are several options I've come across which attempt to tackle the issue
of online collaboration. All of these seem to have been around for a while,
with very little interest from users until the current virus crisis. There
has been a scramble of activity to try to get these systems working, with
mixed results.
Sighted friends of mine have had some success with a product called
JamKazam, though I haven't managed to get it working yet. The user
interface to this is very inaccessible and only really navigable with
sighted assistance.
I'd be interested to hear from other blind musicians who've tried this or
similar products.

I don't know anything about peddles but welcome to the list. WE are a very
quiet list but I have been wondering how other musicians are coping with
this lock down as going out doing gigs is the thing many of us are really
missing. I know a lot of sighted musicians are singing online and wondered
how we could go about doing this. I did sing on our front drive on Easter
Sunday thanks to some very good friends who set up our small PA system. We
have also joined a couple of virtual singing groups but there is nothing
like singing to an audience. Our neighbours came out to listen on Sunday and
plenty of people walking and driving by stopped to listen and everyone said
it cheered them up which was very rewarding.
