Hi John,
That sounds very promising. A drummer, or someone with knowledge of creating
a drum track is exactly what I was hoping to find. I am a keyboard player
myself, and aim to make the instrument voices sound as true as I can, so when
I play a saxophone part, I try to think sax and not keyboard. I'm delighted
when I can fool most of the people most of the time into thinking they're
hearing a real instrument and not a synth.
Best,
Clive

Hi all, I would love to get involved in this type of recording. I am
primarily a Drummer and percussionist and I have a good deal of acoustic drum
and percussion equipment. I also have excellent recording facilities and can
submit raw tracks or mixed versions as required. I await developments with
interest, John ramm

Hi Peter,
This sounds a great idea. Something I'm already doing with one of the other
members of my band, Dead Sea Divers. I'd be more than happy to lend a hand
in the project adding in either, or both, bass and guitars.
I have a couple already that on their own, are very much bare boned.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi All,
Here's an idea:
Somebody has a track; a song or piece of music, that they'd like to record,
or have recorded, with other musicians, all recording their parts from home.
This could work, for example, through DropBox. We have a shared folder
which everyone can access. People can put a demo, or guide track in the
folder, and then whoever wants to can record parts by playing with the
track, but recording only their part. The parts could then be synchronised
and mixed to produce the final version.
If enough people are interested, I'll create and share the folder, and
produce and mix tracks. Others may also want to produce and mix, and if
this took off, then we could pick tracks according to genre and taste.
So, what do you think, and most importantly, do you have a track you'd like
to work on?
Best,
Peter
