Hey David,
I thought the list had gone dead smiles! Sure, make sure you are focused on
the track in question and simply use the alt, hold it down and use your up
and down arrow keys to adjust volume for that track and left and right to
adjust panning, again, just for the focused track. There are various modes
of panning but, for all intents and purposes, this method should suffice.

Hi, all,
Sorry it's been a while since I communicated about the guitar parts on
Stroke of Love, but I haven't been idle. I've added three guitar parts,
electric 12-string and two stereo acoustic guitars, one on capo 3 and the
other capo 6. I now have two problems I'd welcome help with, please. This is
my first Reaper recording and I'm being slowed down by having to learn my
way around. I can find tutorials on automating track volume and panning
using envelopes, but can't find how to just change the volume and set the
pan for the whole track. Can anyone help, please? I can put a rough mix in
Dropbox, but it'd be nice if it was less rough than it is now! The second
thing is I don't really play slide and my guitars aren't set up for it, so
if anyone's a more experienced slide player than me, I'd be happy to hand
over the baton, or the slide!
