I am new to the group.
I am a severely visually impaired actor and I’ve started writing songs again
Attached is one I wrote last December called Dark Delicious Christmas. It’s
rather saucy and I’d like my actress friend, Helen Sheals to sing it. The
GarageBand version here is my demo just with nylon string guitar.
Peter has suggested I put it to the Vibe group with a view to recording a
version of it that we could release in time for Christmas 2021.
I will attempt to produce it.
It’s a crooner essentially and Helen has an Ertha Kitt/ Judy Garland quality to
her voice and I know she’ll act it out very well.
Perhaps the chords could be more jazzy and is there room for some horns?
You’ll hear the influence in my performance, so I think you will all understand
the feel that I’m looking for.
Kind of a late night smoky basement bar type feel.
Id quite like to keep the whistling at the end.
Suggestions welcome, but no sleigh bells.
This could be a lot of fun and I have other jazzy songs we could try.
I would love to release this on youtube. I’d make a video to go with it
