[vi-kindle] which text reader is cheapest?

I was looking for the sort of ereader that cqan read Daisy book files.. the ones I have looked for so far are ridiculously expensive. All I want is a device that can read Open LIbrary and Bookshare books.
I'm looking at http://www.daisy.org/tools/578#t147 ... what can you suggest?
