I read about the Kindle with the adapter when that adapter came out. I know the
battery life is very long. I also wonder how they are managing the whole
screen reader thing here. I know with the adapter it seems like somehow the
screen reader must of been built into the adapter. Now we're talking about
Bluetooth audio enabling people to read the text, what about using the screen
reader. That note that originally started the thread said nothing about the
actual ability to navigate etc. on the device also, I had a Kindle keyboard. It
was OK for its time and for what it was. But it's navigation was sorely wanting
in my view, compared with what you can have now. Kindle keyboard has long gone
away.

hi. this is mostly responding to the other thread on the same topic.
but, i also, just like you, have a older kindle keyboard and still use it.
as for the newly improved kindle e-reader, has anyone read about it on amazon?
or, just making up stuff as they go along?
one plus is battery life. measured in weeks not hours.
stay well ... william

Well, I still use my rather ancient Kindle Keyboard .and
I'm
quite content. It just reads Kindle books, but I can keep all the Kindle
books I own there (or at least access them directly from there), and it's
small enough to fit easily into my purse, so ..if I want variety, I have
the
stream, or the PC. I have yet to conquer I devices, and haven't had all
that much desire to do so, though, I suppose, at some point I probably
will.
