Hi Joan. If you did indeed push it up to 100%, the percentage you see
is only the current level. To see what I mean, go back to the setting
and start tapping the volume up button. You will see the percentage
increase as you do this.
If you didn't really increase the volume here is what I do. I take the
volume down to the lowest percentage when focused on the slider by
tapping the volume down button. Then when I am as low as I can go, I
start double tapping the slider to get the slider moving towards max.
Then close settings and see if there is a change. If you move your
volume button toward max you should hear a real severe change.
