[vi-kindle] turning up the volume on the Kindle Fire Eight

Hi all, when I got this Kindle, the volume was much louder than it is now. I
went into settings, found audio volume and turned it up to 100 per cent. It
won't stay there, though. It goes down to 44 per cent. What can I do?
