hi. you make some very good points. yes. unfortunately it ain't a
totally interconnected wired world.
i suspect this due to alot of factors. copyright, business and legal
tangles. and, political.
funny. audible is an amazon company. go figure. movies from amazon.
another problem. i don't really know, but, perhaps music too?
where does that leave us? well, not a fully functional tablet.
except for books and kindle apps and side-loads.
saying all of this, and this is just me; i don't care for movies. but,
read alot of books. both kindle and other formats. and, like to play
around with all the apps that give the platform more muscle. and,
lastly, i am sitting on a different porch; usa.
of course, the climate has changed alot since circa 2008 when amazon
came out with the kindle e-readers. and, hopefully, in the future
their huge assortmment will be available to everyone. that one-world
thing.
note: i went to the amazon.ca site, and, couldn't find the $39.99 fire there.
