Although someone on some list or other had claimed it could be done
it was never explained or proven. As far as I know one can't use
TalkBack on a fire tablet. However i"ve heard one can use Shine Plus
which is another Android screen reader. I don't think one can use any
other TTS than the Ivona voices either.
You stated you have trouble controlling VoiceView. Have you gone
through the interactive tutorial to learn its gestures?
