You might try running Super AntiSpyware and Malware Bytes as well, if you haven't already done so. Both have free versions and are great spyware detectors and removers. Both malware and viruses will certainly cause serious problems, stealing financial info and identity. At least I haven't heard of nasty bugs attacking our Kindles!
