Hi, Marsha here. Go to where it says "books" on the device. Then double-tap
on that entity. I use a ten-inch fire with a braille display, but as you may
not have one, the best way to do this is to swipe until you find the books
portion. When you find it, you will want to do a double-tap on it. After you
have done this, swipe until you find the book you want. Then double-tap on
that. There is a menu which gives you options such as various waypoints
which are nothing more than places you have left off. There is also an exit
menu. Tap on that with a double-tap to return to where you left off. You may
need to do this double-tap again to get back to whatever book you were
reading.
As I use a Braille display, when I get to where I have been reading, I will
use a chord or spacebar and M pressed at the same time to mute the voice and
read the thing in Braille.
