Hi Henry. The Home button is at the bottom of the Home screen (the one
with all the app icons). I think you have got that correct, but, just
making sure.
You do a double tap and hold on the Home button, and, when you hear
the chime, release and then speak your command.
I think you are holding down during the whole process. That is incorrect.
You'll get it sooner than later!
For your first command, say something easy and silly. Try saying "sing
me a song". Note you don't need to say Alexa with the Fire tablet.
