Thank you for asking. Yes, I did check with Amazon. When I open the program, my list of books shows up, but I can't read any of them. There used to be a list of commands on the Amazon web site, but I can't find that or the information I had copied to my pc. Just to make certain, I opened the app and it said I am using Carol
's 3rd Kindle for PC. I was able to open a book and choose a location to begin reading. I just could not get the speech to work.

have the list of commands for reading with the app?  I used to be able
to read reasonably with my Win 7.  I have also tried using Codex, but my
attempts to convert and read are not successful.  I would appreciate any
help you can give.  Thanks in advance.
