Hi William,
Which RSS reader do you use? I love my iOS RSS reader, and I have been looking
so far in vain for one that I would like on android. I want something that
enables me to download the full text, but not the images, so I can either read
it with or without an Internet connection once the texts have been downloaded.

books apps not silk browser. i went and opened the silk browser and
went to amazon.com. there is a link on amazon that takes one to their
accessible/mobile version. i tapped on that one and the page worked
fine with just scrolling.
note: i mostly go to the amazon page with my windows tablet and nvda
screenreader.
but, the fire with silk did work fine it seems.
another hint/wrinkle. this was added to the newest fire os 5.x. there
is a "recent" icon. you often have to back scroll on the fire homepage
to find it. but, this makes it much easier to find your recently
opened apps instead doing alot of scrolling as was necessary in the
past. many might have figured this out. but, just throwing it out.

all over. I haven't seen the reader option, but will look for it. It is
worth noting that Firefox has had a reader function forever. It's on android
and also on the windows desktop. Talk back, the standard Google android
screen reader, as recently introduced some nice web navigation features and
stability with improved web views. The way it seems to me, is that the silk
browser and screen reader don't yet have these, because it acts like
android did a year ago With talkback before all of the improvements. To be
fair, my experience has been on Amazon site with the silk browser,
particularly books and Kindle, and some on videos and music. So I assume
that this is using the silk browser. William, is your experience on Amazon
sites the same as your experience on other sites such as New York Times
etc.? That is, you are not experiencing focus jumping issues?
