Interesting, I'm running windows 10 and yet have not ran across that
problem. I'm surprised you didn't upgrade windows 8.1 to windows 10. It's
free for of us who are using assistive technology.

russ, i had this same problem on my windows tablet even though it is
running firefox.
that's why i suggested to clear history and cookies.
and, if running win xp probably using ie 8. that's ancient.
nevertheless, i left internet explorer eons ago.
