Yes, I ment codex. That was a typo. In that case, I'll continue to use kindle for pc with accessibility to download my books to my computer for conversion.

Hi all. Russ, did you mean Codex not Covex?

Again, with Codex, There isn't anything about using the newest version
of Kindle for PC to convert Kindle books by James or me, because it
doesn't work!

From Part 1 of my two part series on converting with Codex.

http://www.williambrandes.com/blog/?BlindAccess___Part_1._Mastering_the_Conversion_of_Protected_Kindle_Books_to_Other_Formats

... here are a few hints to get you started. First, read completely
the information on the Codex website. James Cole has a thorough
explanation of your requirements, especially that you don't install
the newest version of Kindle for PC, but, rather install the version
that he links! If you make a mistake here, you are toast. Conversions
will never work until you install the proper version ...

Note that Both Kindle for PC applications will work with your
screenreader, and, the newest is more accessible for reading, however,
the newest version WILL NOT work with Codex.

Stay well ... William
