Hi Lana. Codex works with Windows 10. You use it in conjunction with Kindle for
PC, which is an Amazon product. However, you need to install the older version
of Kindle for PC, not the newer one, and, when installed, turn off automatic
updates in the tools drop-down.
I have written a tutorial here:

I just downloaded and installed codex on my windows 10 computer. I use
firefox for my web brousing and NVDA for a screen reader. Whenever I
try to convert a book, I get the message, book error. I have tried
several different methods for converting, but none of them work. I'm
told that the most recent version of Codex doesn't work with windows
10, but that was a long time ago. Is there an older version I should
have? Where do I get it? I don't mind using the kindle on my iPhone, except
that navigation is limited.
If I want to read a book straight through, it isn't that bad, but if I
want to go back a few paragraphs to check something, I can only go by
lines. The navigation drawer works fine with chapters, but this
particular book has questions for review at the end of the book, and
going back over them is almost impossible. If there is a better way to
navigate, I will be glad to give up the codex option, but since I can't find
one...
