Hi all. I just installed Ask My Buddy, a two-step process, on my Fire
tablet. It allows you to send a alert to contacts, with the option of
text-phone or voice-phone along with email. In other words, you don't
need a phone to send this alert. It can be sent using your Fire
tablet. You might find it helpful in emergency. Here is the website

Note: When I set up the contacts, I also included myself so that I
could test. When using, say Open Ask My Buddy. Then Alexa will ask who
to send the alert to. Say that first name and the alert is sent. Here

This alert is sent only if this person has asked for help. Please

In this case, I sent the alert, and, was the receiver of the alert. If
I said Pam instead, my wife would get the alert. There are other
alerts that can be sent depending on what you say to Alexa, but, this
is the simple and quick one.
