Hi Delma. I began the 30 day free trial for netflix yesterday.
I installed the netflix app from the amazon app store on my Fire tablet.
I also, gave the netflix install a go on my 13 year old laptop running
Windows XP. I also had to install Microsoft Silverlight, but, when all
done, ran fine!
I signed-up for netflix on my laptop since I figured it would be
easier and probably was.
The netflix streams flawlessly on my Fire tablet.
The cost is $7.99/month for one device running at a time. But, you can
put the netflix app on as many devices as you want, including other
tablets in your family or friend circle. They all just need to sign-in
with the username/password to stream.
In other words, my wife and daughter also have the app on their device
and can log-in and stream a movie/TV show if they wish. There are
upgrades to have more than one stream running at a time on one
subscription, but, I got basic.
It is a monthly subscription, so, you can cancel at any time. But,
like I said, the first 30 days are free.
I streamed 3 shows last evening, but, there is a ton of stuff in there
and have only scratched the surface!
