[vi-kindle] Weird blank screen issue

Hi folks,


I have an Amazon Fire 5TH Generation 7 tablet that has suddenly gone blank. All I see on the screen are the Back, Home and App Switcher buttons. i can also open the notification shade, and if an app has sent me a notification, I can get in to that app from there. But the screen appears mostly blank, with no app icons to tap.


Could my launcher be corrupted? Any ideas how to fix this?
