Also locking the indie gets rid of that.

Hi. Here’s the response from the developer. Is it me or is this response just
not helpful at all? Not to mention he’s about 8 days ahead of us. Lol.

Hello Kerry,
Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue. I’m sorry to hear that the
VoiceView feature on your Amazon Fire 8HD is continually speaking over a radio
station’s brodcasting content. I’ll be happy to help you.
We suggest you temporarily turn off the VoiceView feature while you’re
listening to a radio station. For this you may use your two fingers and swipe
from top to bottom, like you do when you have to unlock the Kindle. You will
reach to Settings, tap on it, then reach Accessibility, over there turn off the
voice command mode. Double tap again on this voice command mode to turn it on
again.
Alternatively, you may contact Amazon’s customer service at their toll free
phone number 0800 496 1081 if you’re based in the United Kingdom, they may be
able to provide you with further assistance on how to best configure the
VoiceView so it doesn’t interrupt any other apps.
If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us back.
Sincerely,
Vincenth
