Does that version of kindle for pc run on xP? Version i tried would not.
Unless there is an easier way to do kindle books, I thought I had to load
them into kindle for pc so they'd be on my system for codex to find.

Hi all. I noticed that he offered a link to the older version of
Kindle for PC that was a good link and I downloaded the file as a
backup since the newer Kindle for PC application by Amazon does not
work with codex.
Note also that I use codex with my laptop running Windows XP and it
works nicely!
