I am new to this thread and to this list, so don't have the first message in
this thread. However, I can answer the question about having the BARD app
within the Fire tablet internal memory and saving books to an SD card. It
has been a while since I tried, but I was unable to move the BARD app from
my Fire tablet memory to an SD card, but was able to set it up to have books
downloaded to the card.
I have the $50.00 Fire tablet plus $15.00 for no ads. This Fire tablet has
a bit over 5GB of internal memory. The SD card I put into it is a 128 GB
one. About 13 GB of that SD card is made up of books from BARD. The rest
of what is used on the SD card is books from Audible, music, some movies
from Amazon, audio from some of our movie and TV episode DVDs, a few Kindle
books and, I suppose, data from a few other apps.
Anyway, since I have the BARD app on the device but its books on the SD
card, then it is possible. Don't know if this helps any.
Oh, I haven't tried, so don't know if I can point the BARD app to a
particular folder on an SD card, say the BARD folder on an SD card taken out
of a VR Stream.
