Hi. Yeah. I did know that smile. I'm just going to have to do the old pc
transfer to a folder and see how it works. There doesn’t appear to be any apps.

Subject: [vi-kindle] Re: Transferring MP3 audiobooks to my fire
hi kerry. the kindle 8th generation with bluetooth audio is just an ebook
reader. meaning kindle books or anything that i convert with codex such as
kindle unprotected, .mobi or .txt.
the audio is strictly for voice-view and tts.
here is a link that goes through the amazon readers/tablets and what is offered
in this regard.
http://audible.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4679/~/does-audible-work-on-all-the-kindle-devices%3F
i still have my kindle keyboard which married features of subsequent later
ereaders and tablets. considering it has a mini-audio plug and speaker.
yep, it would be nice if it had that as you said, but, unless amazon goes down
a different path, the fire will be the only device with speaker/jack capability.
i got this new ereader for a song. $50 on sale. and, it does work as advertised.
i'm writing more. stay tuned.
stay well ... william
