I think the short answer to your question is: nothing. It never worked all that
well for me either. It was around before the other jesters you mentioned. So I
guess they just kept it. Maybe somebody has something different or some other
thing that they found better about it. But as far as I’m concerned, it’s a
nonstarter, since the other gestures are easier.
