hi all. i'll hit two messages with one reply.
i agree about the bluetooth keyboard. i use a anchor keyboard paired
to my kindle fire 6".
secondly, i bought my kindle fire 6" in august, 2015 before the $49.
kindle fire 7" came on the scene. i like the small footprint of the
6". but. ,may of very well bought the 7" instead.
not just the price, but, i don't have a memory card slot as the 7"
does. but, i have installed dropbox and one can also dongle with a
thumb drive if necessary.
my kindle fire 6" runs the newest updated os5.x (at least for now,
since an upgrade is in the offing) and i also have special offers. i
bought for $69. which was a $10. savings.
as for the new kindle 8th generation ereader with bluetooth audio, it
seems a good deal, especially if i wait for a sale price from the $79
retail. however, gotta remember, my kindle (2nd generation) keyboard
ereader is going as strong as ever. and, honestly, unless it was a
give-away, probably would not take a pass on the keyboard on amazon or
ebay.
i shared this before, but, you might enjoy this video which goes
through pairing the kindle 8th generation ereader to a bluetooth
speaker/voice view without sighted help. yep, that's me in the
comments /smile.
